Here are a few interesting footballing stories from the last few days:

1. Manchester United avoid revealing their accounts before their floatation in New York, according to David Conn.

2. John Terry is cleared on racial abuse, although debate still rages about the content of his defence.

3. According to Cllr Andrew Pope, fans can and should run football clubs.

4. Fan owned, FC United move a step closer to building their new home in Moston.

5. The Premier League announces that Barclays will continue its sponsorship of the League, spending £120 million on the deal over the next four years.
